I would keep him. A 4 star just isn't going to gain you a huge windfall but he can be a good building block for you.

Worth 15-25K.

I'd keep him as your first QB or MLB or SF. Depending on how he caps.

Thanks guys. I'll therefore keep him, and follow the recommended stadium development route - hopefully I'll reach a sufficiently high income to train him properly before he's too much older!

MLB or SF for sure. In a BOT division (and the coming seasons) you should focus on forming your defence. When he is 4½ BPOS LB or SF, then use him as QB and run the ball until he is a capable passer.

This season only one of my youth picks has survived more than 24 hours (he’s been with me six weeks). Yet somehow I instinctively know the next one will be The Perfect Player. Having to delay my pick until the season rollover is agony.
