That time of the season again - who is going for it this year?

Steve?
Celt?

I have a feeling this is the season we get our inaugural win!

Still very much in favour of alternating it each year. After all this is only abit of fun and people who want the opportunity should be able to get it at some point.

I think it would be good to alternate it. Do you think Celt is interested? Would you be?

I have thrown my name in the hat, I hope to bring new ideas and fresh perspective to the job. At the very least I hope to mix it up a little with the Irish management heavy weights.

I still think either yourself or Celt would be good choices. I'm not interested so I'm not trying to benefit myself in thinking it should be alternated.

If we go with a manager that is currently in the highest division then its either babyduck or Celt. I personally think work rate and communication with other managers is a huge part of it, which is something you do well at.

I think Monkey was in Div 4 when he led GB to the WC, so I dont think being in a top div is essential.

I have put my name forward but I will be happy to support whoever does get the job.

As you say, Emeraldfin, it is just a bit of fun. I would like to see us getting rid of that duck egg on the National Team's record though!

I've decided to stay outta the NT this season, going 0-2 so far isn't a good start plus since I lost the Steel Hawks I'm in rebuild mode so I'll be focusing more on my team rather than trying to assemble a National Team.

Good luck to who ever takes the helm of the Irish NT and hopefully they can bring us our first win!
