Dear Santa,

Please let my next Youth Player have 5 stars talent, at least 18 Intelligence, Teamwork and Consistency (I would ask for 20 but that would be greedy), be 16 years old and with the ability to develop into a super player in any position.

Happy Christmas everyone! (Now - where is that Santa Hat Smiley?)

Hope you all have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Eanna.

Good luck with that....

I started playing this at the start of 2009, yet it took me up to 2 weeks ago to get my 1st 5* youth...

I've been playing 18 months and I got one 5 star talent youth player, just over a year ago. He has come on very well and is starting for me at WR now.

Just wondering - does anyone else have a Youth Academy? If so, is it worth the money? I have had a bad run of Youth Pulls recently so was thinking it might be worthwhile to invest.

Happy New Year to everyone too!!!

Personally, I would not invest in it unless a fair few of my players are getting over the hill and need replacing quickly.

Also I think it would be pretty costly if your outside of the top 2 division as you not only have the building/maintenance costs, but also the skills of the players will be higher, thus increasing overall salary per week.

Just another quick question similar to above, Is it worth up grading the nutrition centre?

Considering the new engine is not in yet and from what I can tell the physicals are not impacted by the players weight/height in the current engine, then I wouldn't upgrade if you didn't have much cash.

I have the first upgrade, which allows you to focus on 5 players instead of one, but I have no plans to further upgrade. Its not a necessity until the new engine comes in, so its up to yourself whether you want to have your players ready for when the new engine does come into affect (if it ever does).

Only my opinion though.

I think we might need those Nutrition Centres now! It will be interesting to see how the new engine works - it will be odd not to pass on every down...

Yeah the news changes everything. Got to have your players ready for the new engine.
