People need to post more! Makes it much easier to keep track of how everyone is doing

Good luck to all in the run in with chances of promotion.

Well done to Eanna, thedonfergaloni, Sam, Doc and johngriffin for all gaining promotion! Well done lads

Downer is in pole position to gain promotion, along with dubdiego and myself.

Celt still has a slim chance of gaining promotion to the top division.

Any you lads have good advice on putting up huge numbers on bots? Need to put up big numbers as I've made a bollox of things in the past two games and my QB has decided to have his worst two games.

Hi Emerald.

The prevailing wisdom on bots has always been to run, run, run. I've found that that does work but I have also put up big numbers by passing on bots too. The problem is that you have to complete the pass in the first place but then only have to get two missed tackles to score. I put 98 points on a bot recently by passing alone. I put 80 on the same team by running the ball earlier in the season.

The other problem is that if you start too well, the engine can slow you down for the second half - which is a bit ridiculous in a game where points difference is so important.

If it were me, I would check the weather - rainy then run, dry then pass.

Good luck with it anyway.

Enda.

Cheers for that Eanna. Never even considered the weather.

looking good for myself too first season in and i may be in with a chance to finish 2nd. my lasst two games are against 2nd and 4th. I beat the 4th ranked team 0-24 at home so hopefully i should have the edge on the away leg i've a stronger team since then. And lost 0-14 in my away leg to the second place team so fingers crossed. Doc is top of my league undefeated and he got two wash outs against me both 70 - 0.

You've had a brilliant first season Fd, definitely see a really good challenge for the title next year between you, Halmstad and Villa Del Rio. I fancy your chances.
And the 70-0's were against bot formations, I think it woulda been a tight game in the 2nd fixture, your running back was beginning to frighten the life outta me.

Lookin good for next season Sean, shame the top team didn't lose last week, would have made this weeks game really interesting.

I'm down for that, we usually have a few weeks break in between Bowls.
