When will the new match-engine be up and running?

Just made my line-up for my next friendly and I saw we are not able to assign a kick-off returner so nothing has changed in that department yet.

My assumption would be for the first league games of season 2. I think this since they said season 2 would include the new updates, and that would the league season would start then.

I know but that's what they said. We would get 2 friendlies before the season starts to get to know the additions they made to the match engine.

Already in September 2023? Wow... with all the details we have been given about the update, I would have thought that it would take longer to fix and improve the game engine.

Especially since it has taken several years to reply to our requests about safeties, balanced playcalling, situational playcalling, detailed information on plays, information about the skills needed for each position, use of time-outs, option for game-winning field-goals and so on.
