It is with great pleasure that I announce the start of Emerald Bowl III.



We have 13 teams:

Dublin Dragons (Sam Kidd)
Gang Green (Celt67)
Ireland's Team (Coach)
newcastle west (seanand)
Oakland Raiders (fdredcap)
Prospect Pumas (Smithers55)
UL Vikings (lonaldinho)
Western Cowboys (thedonfergaloni)

The format will be round-robin - everyone plays everyone else once. This way we will have 12 guaranteed regular season games. Every team will also have one bye week.

The playoffs will be single elimination for places 1-4 and 5-8. Teams in 9th, 10th and 11th will have a bye week as 12th and 13th will play for the right to compete in the 9-12 playoffs.

To restate from last time: these are just friendlies so there is no home advantage. The team with bigger stadium should play at home.

BTW - Tiebreaker rules are:

Points Difference then
Total Points Scored then
Head to Head Result.

N.B. 6pm Server Time on Friday is the cut-off to accept challenges and walkovers will be recorded with a score of 49-0. Please post here with any problems.

I've no friendly next week yet. My friendly today isn't on until 9:00pm tonight. We can arrange a friendly after it's over.
