Instead of the National Team player for the country, each National Team Manager gets to pick in rounds, this way all good players are available to everyone
The high picks go to the lowest ranked teams

This would surely be easy to do and would freshen things up loads

Because right now in the world cup about 5-6 teams can win it if that, the rest are just happy to be there

The Manager who managers "a Country" can only apply for that Country of his National Team yes, but the players once the draft starts can be from any Nation

So yes it would still be a National Team competition, but with all players of the world drafted once all manager positions are filled. You would still have the UK, USA, Italy etc, but with a drafted team of players, this would show greater tactical awareness when playing

This would freshen up the game loads

As currently, it is a case of which one of the top 5-6 teams with all of the teams best players in will win. This could be easily achieved without many changes

Players not losing their statistics until they reach 35 would also be another great edition

A game is meant to be fun, not one sided and loaded. This would be easy to do

Why because it would make things fair for all players?

How is a bottom ranked country with no teams and no players meant to compete with a country with loads of teams and loads of players to choose from?

The answer it it can't, so commenting from a French side, a Nation with loads of teams and players, i can see why this idea annoys you


But think about all players of this game

I agree... it would be more like a Champions League. If it is a World Cup, it should resemble a World Cup of Nations competing against each other.

If anything should be done to the National teams, it should be a cleanup so teams like Denmark (with only 2 clubs) does not have an NT with old (botted) players.

That could give the managers from each country a reason to invest and develop national players.
