Ok then so how about for three years they use this format of a draft style then on the fourth season have the world cup. The seasons go fast in this game and that WOULD pump in some excitement for the National Team

Any type of draft would KILL the National Team. I would not apply for coaching a team where I have to build a team based on luck and chance. How can I know if a player is built solid enough? Would I as NT coach have access to details about skills? Or would it be just selecting from the top 100 highest paid players? That could either be a monster build or a player with 20 in vision and 3 in the rest.

Players not losing their statistics until they reach 35 would also be another great edition

This is great!

I want to propose an option where a player can change their country after playing 5 seasons with a team. For example, if you sign a 16-year-old rookie from the USA and train him in the UK, after 5 years, he can play for the UK if the national team coach picks him. After that, the player can only play for the UK. This would also help to remove old players from the game, but it would allow NT coaches to bring in new players.

While I like the idea itself, if implemented in the game there becomes one huge problem. The country or countries that have the most pooled money would simply be able to buy up all the talent and then convert them to their nationality. Making an already top-heavy NT race for championship even more so

Why because it would make things fair for all players?

How is a bottom ranked country with no teams and no players meant to compete with a country with loads of teams and loads of players to choose from?

The answer it it can't, so commenting from a French side, a Nation with loads of teams and players, i can see why this idea annoys you

But think about all players of this game

Ok, so you choose arguing by making insulting assumptions. Just show how clever you are.

I care so much about french national team results that I don't know them... So I just checked and we are only 12 (while I know french teams struggle a lot in the Atlantic division). That's clearly not a top nation, so your words are just bullshit because you can't accept contradiction.

Now what's the point to make a national team event with the aim that nations with few managers can win it ? Does it exists in reality ?
Reality is harsh, but the less teams you have, the lower your level will be. So what ? If you can't accept that, just forget about national team event. Closing it would be smarter than doing some artificial event like that if it's such a problem.

What you are asking isn't a national team event, it's called an all star game.

And in this game, the All Star game is the AFLC and Iron Bowl.

But let's be realistic with our wishes. The part time developer is looking at bugs and most likely, that will take an extended time since there is a lot of code that needs reviewing just to get the basics of an online football manager game going.

Maybe our suggestions should be within the game itself, such as in-game tactics, stats, player development / skills and management of both teams (both flushing, retirement and reduction).

Not letting the player decline until they reach 35 would be a great improvement

Timing me out after I'd spent forty minutes on a post. Yeah, I'd like that fixed.

Happy Christmas to all the fellow-sufferers out there.

I would also like to put forth another idea.

If there are 2 teams with the same record, but Team A has already beaten Team B 2 times in that season, Team A should be above Team B. It is a bit ridiculous to have a team that has lost 2 times to the other team, somehow be above them in rank when they have the same record. Same rules apply if both teams have only played each other once. I would also like to see some form of this implemented into the world cup brackets as well.
