Incredibly quiet around here. What is going on? Especially with Donal causing quite the upset against the Brits. A win on Friday and we definitely in with a shot of qualifying.

Edit:If New Zealand manage the double on the brits then the winner of the last 4 WCs won't even make it to the competition! Barring a single edge case if the brits only lose by a point or so and the Canadians only beat us by a point and finishing with more points scored. While it would be great if NZ could do the double, I really can't see it happening. The UK have stumbled a bit in recent weeks, but I definitely got a bit lucky in our first match up and don't even dare dream that i'll manage to get the win a second time. It was always going to be a tough group but I didn't think all 4 teams will still be in with a shot as we were going into the final game.

Winner between NZ and UK will definitely go through and then it'll depend on PD to decide the other qualifying team.

PD at present is

NZ +30
Ireland -6
UK -11
Canada -13

I'm hoping that Ireland v Canada game is close and that NZ don't take a heavy loss to the UK, then hopefully NZ will get through.

Hard luck. I thought we were destined for a great comeback with that interception 7 minutes from time but it ended up going straight back to them. It is no shame failing to qualify from that group of death. A victory against the reigning champs was also a great achievement, something which I am sure many countries will thank you for.
