I took some of my spare time and tried to calculate all the seasons from the begining to the latest World Cup which ended a few days ago. Congrats to USA , who is the first and the last(for one season at least) winner of the WORLD CUP !

In qualification the math is like this: W * 2.5 pct - L * 0.6 pct = ??

The final place in the qual. group : 1st place - 10 pts , 2nd place - 8 pts , 3rd place - 6 pts , 3th place - 5 pts , 5th place - 4 pts.

In the main groups the points are like this: W * 4 pct - L * 0.9 pct = ??

The final place in the main group is also worth some points: 1st place - 18 pts , 2nd place - 14.4 pts , 3rd place - 10.8 pts and 4th place - 9 pts.

In the quarter finals the victory is 25 points and the defeat 20 points.

In the semi-finals, the victory 5 points and the defeat 1 point.

3rd place playoff - 4th place - 20 points / 3rd place - 40 points

Final - 2nd place - 60 points / 1st place 100 points

In the end, all the points from above are multiply by 10.

Example:

USA

Qual Group: 5 W and 1 L = 5*2.5 - 1*0.6 = 11.9 Points
1st place in Qual. Group - 10 Points
World Cup Main Groups 3 W and 0 L = 3*4 - 0*0.9 = 12 Points
1st place in Main Group 18 Points
Victory in the QF 25 Points
Victory in Semi-Final 5 Points
Victory in the Final 100 Points

11.9 + 10 + 12 + 18 + 25 + 5 + 100 = 181.9

181.9 * 10 = 1819
