Already started upgrading the team alot! My vision for this team is to have a full line up with the best players from Sweden (just as its supposed to be) But the different is that the rest of the squad will be filled with young players that are getting very good training insted of older mediocre players. Wont play with those mediocre guys anyway. By doing this i hope to encourage the owner of those young players to use all possible resources for trainers etc. for these young Swedes.

Pre Qualification Review

We were placed in a 5 team group togheter with the last year winner. It will be hard no doubt but Sweden will come with a very strong team this year, stronger then ever before. Alot of time searching the best Swedes have been made. Togheter with Gobabe Spotted Hyenas we picked togheter a some young great talents aswell. A big add for our D-line came this year which was very neccecery since Ludwig Lundgren is getting old. To make a long story short, this is going to be a very fun world cup for the team and also all who cheer for us.

First match vs New Zealand
Short Review

New Zealand
2 victories for Sweden, I will be very dissapointed if i'll see another result from those 2 games. Rocky Solo is an experienced manager but Sweden do have a very strong first line up especially the offensive one. I think and hope New Zealands line up wont be able to be compared with that. Still, they have a different manager from last year and I have no idea what i'll get to see on that field. Tomorrow we'll open up against New Zealand.

Will try to make a new review of each team in the group before match is up against them

You should have no problem against my Dad's Army. If either of us are to progress, we must beat each other. Looking forward to the game (though not the result lol)

Just a very unlucky loss for you their mate. Thought Id blown it. That's the first time Ive seen a game where 60 mins is on the clock and there is still a play left. This game can be brutal. Ive already lost two games at the death with my Steelers. You have a great team and I expect you to bounce back. See you in the rematch. I hope its as good a game as this one.

Match 1 Sweden vs New Zealand
Result: 38-41
Well played: Alex Jacobsson - 3 tackles & 1 sack

First of all, Congrats Rocky. You won this match fair

Ok guys, ive gathered my mind now from last friday's defeat. We played against New Zealand and ended up with a very unlucky defeat. 5 seconds from finish they managed to score a touchdown and won the game. They had 1 more play to do I knew that, so even though it was 5 seconds left they were gonna do one more play but i am really dissapointed my team couldn't manage to stop that last pass from New Zealands QB Mike Leota.

Overall we were the better offensive team and they had the better defensive team. We had a solid play all through the game with touchdown that came from us working our way up the field. New Zealand got their touchdowns from 45,72,79 yard passes...Those are not "lucky" Touchdowns, those are touchdowns that come from having an less good defense. Unfortunately we're a small nation and the line up we have in the defense are the best one we can bring.
I hope all Swedish managers read this and get going with the defense training !

Next game will be against Switzerland! Very excited for this game They're the last World cup champions and im looking forward to give them a hard challenge and walk out of the arena with our first victory !

You would think Sweden should have an army of huge and strong defensive players, especially DL's cause of our history as Vikings. Can 1000 years have changed that?

Match 2 Switzerland vs Sweden
Result: 42-49
Well played: Alex Jacobsson - 4 tackles & 3 sacks ------ Vilmer Johansson 65% pass completion

Very good performance from the Swedish team today as we take down the last world cup winner Switzerland by 42-49. I want to mention Alex Jacobssons incredible defense those two games that we've played so far, 7 tackles and 4 sacks. He joined the team this World cup and proved that hes th best and he is here to stay.

Bad start in the first quarter, we were not really creating anything. Incompleted passes everywhere but after a encouraging talk with Vilmer Johansson before the second quarter he really got going. Ended up with 65% pass completion and had a splendid connection with Simon Lindberg.

First kicker/punter Arvin Dahlberg got injured in todays training which was concerning because i thought i would have to try and get alot of points from field goals today. I was wrong and Albin Fredriksson (backup kicker) who stepped in did his job perfectly.

Last thing im bringing up in this review are some players in the team who made their first NT match ever!

Theodore Fransson
Club - Gobabeb Spotted Hyenas
Pos. - RB
Age - 24
Height- 6'0''
Weight- 237 lb

Mattis Hermansson
Club- Leones Zaragoza
Pos.- Linebacker
Age- 23
Height- 6'3''
Weight- 286 lb

Great start on the weekend and hopefully a start in moving through the qualification group.
Next friday will be against a strong Poland with top division Osinho as coach. Is going to be very hard, will we be able to chock the world once again??
