Having a good season so far, undefeated, but haven't played any of the big dogs yet. I was going through my roster which is way too big right now and I'm looking to trim the fat. Now here's where it gets sticky.

Between my QBs and WRs I've ten 4 star athletes. Of the 10 only one is a starter, my QB. My other three QBs have zero Intel between them so I'm going to see what their physicals top out at and see if I can slot them in somewhere as they won't be QBs.

My starting three WRs are 3.5 star or lower but I've a fleet of young second and third string WRs that are all 4 stars with good height and weights but low skill sets as I've been playing the high skilled, low talent guys in the league/cup and there's only so many spots in the friendly games for the rookies.

I'm thinking if I loose tomorrow to the wolves, who should win the league, I might sell my higher paid, higher skilled but lower talent receivers go and just rebuild my WR depth with the young bucks. Am I mad? And also, am I right in thinking that if for example I've a 4 star QB with no Intel but he's 6'7, 260lbs with high speed, strenght and tackling abilities that I can slot him in as a DE or LB even if his chart says he's only a QB, it'll just take time for him to develop into a four star at one of those positions.

3.5 and 4* players can both reach 4.5 BPOS in any position they play in. Below that they can't. Weight and height can both be ignored in this game. They have no effect on how good or bad a player is. If you aren't promoting it is better to get players 3.5* or higher onto your first team and suck in the pain pf losing a few games to train them up.

If a player plays a position enough he will eventually come to prefer that position so if a qb is played on dl enough he will eventually become a dl.

Always go for the higher talents. If a rebuild is required, it will benefit you in the long run

Get them all back up to 100% too

Training higher intensities does nothing but lose you matches

play friendlies.

fire the high wage kicker, gunner, 30yo DL and the other high wage DL. over 300K savings there. team shouldn't be hurt winning wise.

And like the real Reggie McKenzie, I've dropped the axe on most of my starting WRs and a few OL too. It was tough, but let the rebuild begin.

probably do better seating wise. Winning in DIV would be better than 7th in DIII.
