With the off season looming, this is the first year where I could see a significant step up in wages.

This step up will probably be a mere drop in the salary ocean for other teams (I make about $400K net profit a week currently), but just wondering what kind of monies I should keep in my current account?

Couldn't agree more there. It's only taken 6 years for me to have a plan, and ill be better for it in 3 or 4 seasons.

In the future they will be starters or sell for good money. The rest are already starters or I'm waiting to see where they cap.

For players that won't be quite good enough to make the roster, I train them up so that they're ready to be starters in Div 2 or thereabouts rather than selling them raw - I believe that though I have to pay their wages for a season or so, that when I sell them I'll get better money that will more than cover costs. This is what I think of as good use of the training facilities. People will only pay big bucks for 4.5* talent raw players with great CON and probably INT - I keep them anyway! Other raw players tend to sell for a lot less than if they're ready (or close to it) to play.
