Can someone please explain this game to me, or at least point to a section that explains it because everything I have read has been useless so far.

We are working on uploading the docs as we speak and the latest we will upload the majority of the documentation is tomorrow (server time) including all the FAQ sections and the engine explanations. Today was more of a "D day" for moving this thing to official server and in the next couple of days, we will wrap things up and also start advertising around the net.
For these starting hours, the best advice would be, don't spend too much and get the feeling for the game's interface and "general feel". Get the main team sponsor and a youngster pulled. Any specific question you might have, feel free to ask and I (or any of my colleges) will answer it gladly.
As Hurukan above stated. This thing is brand new. Installed today. But a lot of work went into this and when everything comes into place, and when we start the season, we do believe that it will be great fun to play and a great challenge.
