Why spend 19m on a QB prospect when the positions importance has been vastly downgraded???

Even if he played LB too, I see no reason to break the bank for one player. He could have gotten at least a whole team for that monet... but hey - It's not my money and the 23% taxes will surely boost the games finances tremendously!

Only sad thing is that if this is collusion, one of the best players in the game will end up as default OL, untrained on a BOT team... Sad.

As buyer, I feel addressed, borderline accused. I did not break the bank, and i am not in danger of bankruptcy. I do not feel i would miss out on any prospect for financial reasons that i really wanted to buy in the future (due to this purchase).

Should you not be able to spend your money any way you want too?

As much or as little as you want without such scrutiny?

It looks clearly like he has broken no rules with this, he has paid the money, and got his player

I can only think people are angry with this because they did not have money to buy him

I might buy a $30 million dollar player soon just to get you all stirred up lol

I wasn't bringing the buyer's credibility into anything that I thought curious. Apologies if mistaken.

You have nothing to be bothered about my friend, you simply bought a player you wanted and paid a price you could afford. It's a sad state of affairs that you feel like you had to come on to the forums to defend yourself. Personally i applaud you for having a big huge set of bollocks and spending the best part of 19 mill on a player

Saddest part indeed, all the seasons I've played, never picked up a youth pull that could rival those fixed numbers

Agreed, I may be a bit jealous though, not angry. That bid was almost as much as the most I've ever had in my bank. Just not good at saving fake money. Now the buyer just hopes he doesn't cap early

I am training him for the future QB, so he will neither will be bot OL, nor scrap. Also, no matter what is the cap, he will be able to play. Honestly, i would not have paid almost 20m if the capping would kill his value for the team. That would have been a gamble. On the other hand, QB position does not care much about Strength or Speed, but i guess you know that better than me.

Sorry for the remark about him being a BOT OL.. That was premature and I congratulate you with the best player, I have seen in the game. He will be a monster QB and depending on speed also a triple threat since he can easily play SF with 13-15 strength and therefore still be in the sweet-zone for QB strength.

My experience is that some QB's are more prone to run, so if his speed is decent, he will also gain some yards on the ground, too.

Good luck with him and to your team in the future!
