MID SEASON REVIEW


At the half way point of the season we see the biggest change in the first 9 games... Long time champions, and Undefeated in the League Jerusalem Knights loose to new boys Lontras in a sometimes nail biting game!

So how are the teams developing and what can we expect for the second half of the season...

Lontras
With there run in the TD now the undefeated of the season, they look like possible League (and Cup) winners. There game against Knights was very close so if either team meets in the cup it could go either way. In the league they hold the upper hand but given the Knights PF advantage its likely that they will need to win the Final game of the season before they are sure of the title.

Jerusalem Knights
Down into second spot after their only defeat in countless seasons of the league. The Knights may be down a little, but expect them to fight back, there players are veteran in most positions and this might just be the spark that awakens the beast.... They have a huge cash potential so may even start to splash the cash to wipe out opponents.

Haifa Mariners
The Mariners have been going about their business, gathering there points and working to develop a team that is easy to underestimate but has shown to have great potential in the long term. Don't expect to see them challenging the top 2 but they will be firmly seated in 3rd place this season, and if luck holds they may end the season in the regional cup final AGAIN if they can avoid the big boys.

Puppets of the Gods
4th Place is all the Puppets can hope for this season. The team lacks the experience, and quality of mount any challenge on the top 2 and the players are to young to truly compete with the rounded Mariners. The second half of the season will start well, but expect a slump as the team nears the end of the season.

Jurnalistii
A team that may loose its management soon, some potential but has never pushed itself to improve in a league where mediocre performances don't mean relegation... if they have a manager at the end of the season expect them to be above the relegation zone but not much else...
