Hey guys, went all out this year trying to put together a great squad of irish players unfortunately now this week I am going to go broke and lose the team unless i sell the stadium and rebuild. I have trimmed the squad down and have some great youth players and experienced guys worth keeping. Should i just let the team go after all these years and maybe start again or sell up an rebuild?

Also a bit disillusioned by the whole game so............

What should i do?

cheers guys

I had the same situation going back maybe 4 or 5 seasons ago. I was within about a week from going bankrupt. I also only had 1 skill wonders. I rearranged my squad and also how I ran my team and now I'm on the brink of promotion to the top division, so it is possible to recover from this.
As the others said, sell your top earners with only 1 skill developed and keep players which you can develop evenly with their relevant skills. Buying cheap players to fill the gaps while you develop your team is a good idea. If you are still in trouble try selling facilities but selling your stadium should only be a last resort when you have no other option.
Best of luck. You can message me if you need more help.

If are are at the point of selling a stadium. Then I would say start again. Starting a new team just before season changeover mean you will collect the prize money for the new team to take over. Which would be a nice new team bonus.

I wouldn't agree with that. He would earn in the region of €4.5 million for selling the stadium and if he was to start with a new team, he would start with something like €1 million. Whatever he does, he will end up with a stadium with a 1,000 capacity, so it's more beneficial to sell and get the extra revenue.

Why sell a bunch of 1 skill wonders? I get that everyone is offering advice to help the manager turn around a sinking ship, but by selling players, you are basically suggesting that there are plenty of fools around that will pluck them up off the transfer wire and in effect causing the same problems on ten or twenty other teams. Fire all the one skill wonders and get those train wreck players out of the game

Good point! Agreed.

Training some guys to play several spots might help also. I decided to have a kicker/running back combo so as to save money. That is something I think should be considered.
