A win is a win




Who would have thought, all these seasons later, I'd see Michael Betts (a Tuffgong player who was just as oddly built as his owner's behaviour) and Ivan Wall (the man who was never quite good enough) lining up on the DL for Australia. These are players I had in the team (before booting Ivan Wall before deadline) in my very first stint as coach all that time ago

Brazil played without any OTs vs Ireland and gave up only 7 pressures and no sacks!

Btw, just back to the Welsh vs McMahon debate, McMahon has 8 pts more of spd and Ag. I am sure both count toward avoiding pressures/sacks. Maybe even STR plays a role were he also has a 3pt advantage. There's no way I'm flushing all of that for 1 point of INT/CON.

The only real dilemma on this squad is who to pair with Kiel @ CB.

Not a bad day on offence!

706 yds, 73.5%, 20.8 per attempt, 28.2 per reception and zero punts!

And we were 1st and 10 at the 87 at the end!

Our offence had its own Olympic opening ceremony! Farias and Welasco both showing their true loyalty to the Australian clubs!

But in all seriousness, their Albuquerque and Santarosa combo missed a ALOT of tackles leading to our TDs. Definitely watch that for the rematch.

Top game - wild finish!

1st time I've been happy to kick a FG - until they scored immediately afterward!

But then we were 3rd and 10 and "Chris Pratt runs for 19 yards. Gains 1st down!" - LEGEND!

And then a well timed INT on the last play! Balanced the one we got at the end of the first half!
