Is it really necessary on a forum with less than 100 active users?

Think this might be an over-reaction to what happened yesterday.

How could I have overreacted to something yesterday with a suggestion from 6 days ago???

I could however see the problem coming

You clearly saw the problem coming, so you obviously overreacted in advance. Quite perceptive, actually

Everyone can see it coming. The light handed approach by the admins and mods to repeated offenses just allows those whom like to stir to continue on a path of stupidity.

Also a competition of mud slinging between community members, (one of which is a mod) doesn't help the situation either. Bans should be in place when required before mud slinging gets one into hot water.

You may have noticed I didn't accept a mod nomination. Cos I don't agree with the current ways of moderation. Too soft on repeat offenders and two different rules for those with and without the ban stick.

That's like not voting in the election because you don't like the current prime minister!

No. Its more like not applying for a job when you know you'll wont get along with your future workmates.

Ahem... No Politics!!

Lol

& to agree with Project, Whilst I have never had a problem (or a run in of any kind) with the 2 protagonists, mud slinging did come from both sides.

We already have one - it's called the down arrow button.
