It took awhile (too long actually), but there are a few changes/updates to the game scheduled for the next pre-season, so we want to give all managers an advanced warning of what they can expect.

1. Kit/Jersey numbers - All supporter managers will be able to assign a number for each of the players in the team.
2. Training intensity - You will be able to set training intensity for each individual player now.
3. Engine (passing play) - Slight general tweaks to the engine. Also, QB's will now be able to choose a fullback as a pass receiver, when the opportunity presents itself.
4. Engine (running play) - Modifications to core calculations that should make running a better option in more situations than it was until now.
5. Engine (running play) - Making FB/HB combo (when available) working more effectively against the defense.
6. Engine (BMI) - General implementation. All managers will need to pay close attention to this stat from season 25.

As the mentality is now "switched" from "major changes" to "one step at the time", you can expect further updates next season as well. But they will not be announced until they are ready (for obvious reasons).

good for game, but can you bring in a safety for Defense? so many games have loss of yardage on 1yard line

I know that more work will be done on engine, but I can only post the things devs are 100% sure about (and again, for obvious reasons).

Just to confirm the qb may pass to the HB as well as the FB right? 99% sure that is what you meant but just to be 100% sure.

Is there anything you can say how the game plays differently in terms of tactics. For instance if you pass to the left will it have any effect on how often you pass to the half backs? Does it depend on where they line up?

Has the pass effectiveness been reduced? You say slight tweaks, will they have a large end effect that we will see or is it just the HB passing option?

I get you are not going to give out detailed info on your engine but just figured I would ask as obviously everyone has a load of plans to change now

Most importantly Now if you excuse me I need to check my player's diets.

I literally never thought I would read a statement like that. I'm a little bit overwhelmed.

Changes to passing and running are obviously big, but the biggest one will be the BMI. I didn't care about that at all (like everyone should, up until now), but it changes a lot. No more 20/20 physical monsters. Do you buy the nutrition center now and start to correct the weight of your players?

I have enough guys in poor bmi that I will need to start now and I have some guys that I think it's too late for like my 350 CB.

This is going to screw a few teams out there... this pretty much ruins my WRs and OLBs.

Still, it is positive news.

Whether these changes are actually implemented or not, I will be pleased either way.

Yes, this may hinder my chances too... I have never been so happy to say that though. Brilliant news.

I've been playing this game for almost three years now. Obviously, since logging in almost every day, it feels like a long time. How does it feel for a player like you, Casado, who's been here since 07.10.2008, so almost 9 years. And with that, appox. 3 or 4 years where you must felt that nothing will change anymore.
