Home field advantage will no longer apply in AFLC matches.

I prey for doing it in all the game of g.i... not only in AFLC

Based o some of the game ratings from my league games to it looks like Home Field still applies to league games.

Unfortunately, that's the way it is

It does. And there should be some Home Field Advantage. It's 3 points in the NFL. And 3 points in the NFL is a lot more than here on GI. I'd argue that a one TD HFA would be the way to go here on GI. That could be pretty equivalent to 3 points in the NFL.

I think it's more at the moment. It shouldn't be a miracle to win on the road. But at the same time, you should be better than your opponent to win on the road.

It's a good first step to eliminante the factor in the AFLC. If home or away games are pretty random, then there shouldn't be a HFA.

I have it at about 15 points based off the ase top division last season. (Well I think I might be missing the last two weeks).

That is a serious gap to overcome. It was the same for Weasels by the way who had a good away record but only 1 point in the difference for the rams (far more for a few teams).

15 sounds about right, even though I have no idea how to calculate that. Cut it basically in half and we all would have a better experience imo.

From some stats I did for the TD last season. I just took the difference between each teams hone points difference and away points difference. The average of these was about 15.

I attempted to remove any pointless matches die to teams rebuilding. The method is not perfect but should be close.

So you are looking at about 7.5 points advantage to a neutral venue. (So if I am expected to beat you by a point in a neutral venue I would expect about 8-9 point win at home and a 6 point loss away.

I agree that half that would be about right.

we will never play another league game against a evenly matched team to see who really has the better team, pretty sad.
