well today was a nice response. It did however get a little hairy towards the end. Living here in NC it's always nice to see them take down the panthers. Nothing against Cam and company mind you, it's just the panthers are really a Charlotte and SC thing as opposed to the "two states one team" mantra they put forth. In fact the further east you go from Charlotte the less influence the Panthers have. Eastern NC for instance is still very much Redskins territory as pretty much the northeastern area is lumped in with the Virginia Beach market. But the Panthers do make a nice bandwagon to jump on when times are good.

Something though is not right with the skins, Snyder has poisoned the well so badly that it is palatable how much overall distaste there is for the franchise as a whole. The stadium today looked a third empty. Now I know the weather for all three home games has blown, but that never stopped anyone in the past. Maybe with the Cowboys coming to town and sitting in first place the atmosphere will change but right now this team is being greeted with great apathy

Very pleasing result Sunday. Can't help but think that the Colts loss is going to bite us on the arse though

Really a great triumph against the Panthers, Carolina is a good team and although we are working in an incredibly irregular way, knowing that we can win this type of matches and in a division like this, gives you the peace of mind that you can fight to get to play off , something that at the beginning of the season did not think possible.

Its Cowboys week folks, and that in itself still fires me up.

And with that in mind let's revisit one of those years gone by, check out the section that starts about the 3:00 mark, a true classic from this rivalry.

Great win despite some awful fourth quarter play calling

Both teams really did their best to give that one away.

Dallas just did a better job at doing so. I think they do a terrible job with Prescott, no RPO's no roll outs, just let him drop back and get killed. Or maybe he just doesn't like getting hit.

Now the falcons come calling. A stout test for the D. But it's at home, and the falcons come in on a short week. Atlanta does not seem to be the same on grass as turf, but Matty Ice ain't gonna gift wrap this one either. To win the skins must do better in the red zone. I think they will. Skins 27 Falcons 23

Yeah I accidentally overlooked that. Good thing the skins didn't. AP saved our bacon, yeah he might be a bad citizen but he can still tote the mail.

Next week we learn a lot more

Ouch

Whilst I still think we stand a chance of winning the division and making the playoffs we’re way off being a true contender.

Can’t see us winning a playoff game anytime soon

Yeah, the OL is too banged up for a playoff run.
