Playing in the top division really does open your eyes. When I first got promoted to the top division I thought I knew how to play the game but after getting relegated that season I soon realized I didn't know as much as I thought I did. So I learned my lessons, regrouped and promoted again with a new plan. This time it's working a lot better for me.

If the end of last season and the start of this season were combined into a full season, you'd have won another league title. Makes you wonder how many any other teams would have won titles if their form had timed itself right.

If only, because the second half of this season hasn't started too well. I knew my good run would come to an end but I was hoping it could last a little bit longer. Lost 2 out of 2 in the second half of this season so far.
It would be interesting if someone had the time to check past seasons if teams form between seasons would have won titles. I'm surely not the only team to have had that kind of a run.

A lifeline. Nothing more. I have lost a lot of close games this season so if I can turn a few of them into wins I have a chance.

Got another win in a game that was closer than it looked again. Some really good teams are going to relegate when they could just as easily have won the division.

Another loss for me. 3 in a row now. It's starting to feel like the start of last season all over again. I think I've identified the problem with my low scoring offense but I've no real immediate fix. There will be changes at the end of the season though.
Fortunately for me the Weasels lost, so it keeps me in the hunt for the title if I can stop the rot. Although it's a very tough away game next week.

4 losses on the trot now. My challenge for the title is probably gone now unless I can somehow manage to win my remaining games. Very worried about relegation now. I'm on a slippery slope and can't seen to stop it.
Very competitive this year. From 1st to last is a lot closer than previous seasons.

I had a good old fashioned goal line stand today. Fionia had three attempts from two yards out and ended up getting no gain, one yard and no gain as time ran out. Some you win, some you lose. My luck was in.

Five teams running the ball this week, three passing and two mixing it up.

Oh how times have changed

Really could have used that TD
My bad luck started friday, though, when I lost my QB/K/P.
Can't remember the last time, I was without a QB - if ever.
But we'll never know if a few passes would have changed anything.

Sneaked another one today but really didn't deserve it.
