Just suppose you were looking to upgrade at the CB position?

Imagine buying your replacement, placing the old guy (with regrets) on the transfer market.

Then on Friday morning you discover your new CB is a total sicknote and is unfit to play due to split ends or something.

So you switch your old, transfer-listed CB back into the lineup.

But then you realize his transfer end date is 10:37am on Saturday.

So will he actually be my player when my game kicks off at 12:00? (ie. until the transfer rollover process happens).

Answers from Atl.Div II(3) rivals will of course be treated with suspicion

When you say BOT Lineup, does that mean because the transfered player, who is selected in the match orders, is no longer available, the WHOLE lineup is randomly selected because the missing player makes it an illegal formation?

That's correct, the entire team is now a bunch of bones surrounding a jelly core and nobody can play very well at all

Isn't it only the Defense who goes bot when the CB is missing from the lineup? Either way, you'll lose against a human team, of course.

Actually, it's only the side missing the player(s). It's the same situation as if you set a lineup, then cut a player, or a player gets injured and doesn't play.

At least, I'm pretty certain that is the way it works.

In any case, you will likely lose anyway.
