I also have the ignominious record for the most weeks at less than -$400,000 in a row. I don't know if the admins were on holiday at the start of week 21, but I never got a financial warning, so carried on under the -400,000 threshold for three weeks before I managed to get out of it.

Please don't try to repeat this record though.

Since I began tracking my ecomony (since season 11), I have never been into the red. Never really above 25 million either. Close, but then I bought TE Stewart Leonard. Now, I am close again and sniffing at TD...

Worst season was season 16 in TD. Loosing many games and not a great cup run!

Make that 6 weeks

When I first played this game I kept getting burned for promotion by teams that would sign high wage players only to go bust a season or two after. As frustrating as this was I kept plodding along, paying sensible, sustainable wages, growing my stadium capacity. Progress was slow but it was almost like printing money.

So nowadays I’m living off the fruits of my early season labours.
