My team just overwhelmingly won a game in such a bizarre fashion that I suspect that it may be due to a glitch in the GI programming. The play selection my team used didn't even seem right. Did anyone else experience anything similar?

Funny you ask.. I had a 3 SF 1 CB 4 LB D.. and lost TD after TD 1st and 2nd.. AFTER being ahead 7-0.. yes I did have PassDef orders and his WR was on my CB side with 2 TE 2 RB

The strength of your opponent meant that you were basically playing against a bot. Nothing unusual there.

Yeah, I have run the final score up against bots before many times, but not quite this same way. Even in those other games my team had at least a few unsuccessful plays, and there was a little variety in play selection. In this latest Cup game, on every possession, on every first play from scrimmage, my QB handed the ball off to my RB who scored a TD from no matter where my team was on the field - EIGHTEEN straight times! That was a bit bizarre, especially as I don't believe I had my offense slated to run the ball that often. Granted, I'll gladly take the win, but that has to be the wackiest performance my team has ever had in GI.

His opponent actually did bot his defense in this game which explains the lopsided score.

Well, just when you think you've seen it all in this game! Today's cup match had my opponent on the 14 yard line with about 3 mins to go, thanks to a sack and a qb pressure, he found himself with a 3rd and goal (and down by 6 pts.). 3rd down had a pass completion for 13 yards and one of my guys made a goal line tackle. After the replay confirmation, his knee was in fact down at the 1 yard line and so they line up to kick a field goal. Ouch, that has to hurt. So I was expecting an onside kick, naturally, but no, they kick the ball off and my team ran the clock out and sealed a 3 pt win. As far as cup runs go, I will take it, but I do feel bad for my opponent. Good game, nevertheless

This figures ... there are still D.V and bot teams playing in the tournament, and yet I have to play Hakers next.
