Happy to talk about it, which ones you think were out of position?
Really unhappy about the last drive, we should have kicked a FG and won the game but my setup were probably too conservative.
Did not expect a 100% run from Spain either, they do change every game their setup so it was not easy to decide...
Anyway, open to suggestion if you have any.

"Probably" too conservative .... A 32yd FG wins it, and our kickers can kick them from 45yds. I'd start by changing that setting. Otherwise, you have done pretty well for your first outing against the reigning champs.

I agree with PR re: the defense - not that you had players playing out of position, but there are a few dual-role players who would have been better suited elsewhere. Vince Morton is a much better choice at OLB than Moles, for example. I also would have had Giles in at CB, Athol Grose must be like 32-33yo by now and didn't compare even in his prime. I also think the O'Shea was wasted talent playing at SS/C - he is another who can hold his own at OLB, or even FS.

On the D-line, Krakouer is out of shape by BMI standards. At least, he was last season. I don't 100% believe that BMI has any impact despite what we've been told, but I would factor it in to be on the safe side. He is also better suited on the inside (DT/NT) as he is a proven tackling machine against the run... Our #1 TE Ted Simpson is also our #1 DE and has been for what seems like centuries. He is an ageless national treasure at this point, and should be playing both sides of the ball every game. Also, Edward Kite is our bad luck charm - he looks good (probably top 2 on the O-line) but every time we field him we struggle and it makes no sense. Use him at your own risk, as he seems to be cursed

You still managed to take it to overtime, which is a good sign. Let's just chalk this one up as part of the learning curve. The team just needs a few little tweaks here and there and hopefully it all comes together vs Norway. It's a tough team to coach; no doubt you've already realised this.

Good luck for the next match

Thank you.
You obviously have a deeper knowledge of the players than i do, being this the first time i checked on the australian NT.
However i do use (as i think everyone of us does) a way of ranking players that is suggesting some choices. For example, since you mentioned cbs, right now my ranking would place Moss as the top CB, followed by Grose, Black and Morton (Giles is way behind). Morton who is, btw, my best choice at FS by far, hence the reasoning behind him playing there.
Just to mention a single position...but i did take notice of the suggestions and will make some changes (hopefully for the good)

Of all the possible injuries, the most crucial dual teamer goes down.

Ouch.

Tough road ahead but there's still a chance. Don't give up just yet.
