I like the suggestion. It offers to the potential to accelerate a new team's competitiveness.

First of all my counterproposal wa an extra level of youth academy with significant extra maintenance cost.
Secondly i am able to buy players i want. They are just expensive.
Then a lot of 3.5 and 4 star talents are sacked due to no demand for them. So it is not a sellers market.

I feel two YP per week is probably too much, but I am all for a few extra youth pulls per season. Maybe something like we have one week where we can choose all the available selections eg. during the offseason. Like a training camp of sorts. Maybe you get lucky that week, maybe they're all busts and better luck next offseason.

Another option would be to send all those that you didn't choose for any given week straight onto the market. This could make for a fun feeding frenzy every Sunday.

Adding another upgrade that would allow that option, but for a steep maintenance cost would make sense to me. Just awarding more youth would likely kill the secondary market.

Having the change to promote 2 players instead of 1 will help your own team, but the market wont improve that much, in my opinion, because the good prospects people will keep them, so only garbage will enter the market, mostly.

However, the market is dead, and needs something to make it a feature worth keeping an eye on it. So, i think 2 things should be done.

First, i would send unselected players to the market, but not all ending on sunday, those players should be spread out during the week, to keep it alive, this could be done by 2 ways, have them hit the market immediately but with different ending times (some 3 days, some 4 days, some 5, some 6, some 2). Since this players will be free agents, the different ending times wont help or damage anyone.

The second thing that could be done, is to send players from bot teams to the market, there are bot teams with decent/good players, some of those players could also be thrown into the market, little by little. There's no point in keeping those players on the bot teams, and it's something that could help the game as well.

There's bigger problems on the game, but more young players would help.

Two youth pulls helps every team, not just my own.

But it doesnt work in the you say of your opinion. Long established team with huge wages cannot hold onto 4 CBs for example. So good trained player did hit the market all the time.

If you are a new team say with under 2 or 3 season experience and low wages. The above wont apply as you have cash reserves to buy.

The market used to be a trickle down flow as players got sold of to smaller teams with bigger pockets. Then those smaller teams got more competitive.

I'd be happy with the flood of unpicked youth though. Any way to get more youth into the game is good.

I disagree. I think it has also downsides, so i am more picky than suggesting any way is better than now.

This offer, in my opinion, will not kill the market.

The main thing - to keep the percentage of talented STARTERS.

For example, to do this, you can further increase the percentage of low hard caps of physical indicators.

This is a very slow game. The path from the young talent to the starter is very long.

It is important that this process is interesting.

The weekly lack of talent makes the players motivation lower. The low caps of physical indicators of a young talent with greater chances of weekly getting young talents will be better for player motivation.

I also do not see any special problems in simultaneous release on Friday of three unselected young players to the market. For example, the system may limit entry to the market to no more than 18 players every hour or 3 players every 10 minutes. This will even further increase interest (especially if your weekly choice was player 1.5 * ). At peak load, it will be completely incomprehensible when three of your young players will hit the market.

When i say own team, i don't mean your's. I mean picking 2 players helps the team who picks the players. If i pick 2 players i will keep them, this will help my own team, if you pick 2, it will help your own team, etc, this is what i meant. I even put own in italic to try to pass this message, guess it wasn't enough. my bad.

Oh, this I think will be the least popular opinion ever, but what if we had fewer youth pulls?

Make it harder to find 4.5* talent, and increase demand and competition for the remainder.
