Just paid 100,000 for a 20 yr old undeveloped 20/20 QB/CB (2 star bpos) with wages of 16,000 because when I asked the team owner what talent he was - he told me 4.5......

Now the player arrives at my squad and is only 3.5........ so he blatantly lied !!

I do not like this at all........ is there any reporting mechanism ?

unfortunately not. it is buyer beware. bad seller though get known pretty quick around here. one check of your transfer purchase history. and we all know whom not to buy from.

It might be due to incompetence as well. Not straight malice or greed. (With that said that is also reason for distrust.) Just look at how that player was developed, or lack of thereof, and there are also other signals. When i see that i doubt the quality of the product.

I always scout the player if I'm shelling out a large amount on a transfer just in case.

I was asking about the players at the beginning. Nowadays I use the scout too

The manager in question is probably going to claim he meant he could reach 4.5*BPOS. Some managers use scout reports to scout oposition players on a weekly basis and rely on the honesty of other managers when asking about players they are selling. I would not be happy either m8.

There is no rule violation but either miscommunication or deceit. In any case you should always scout any player you are forking over a lot of cash for.

I just shelled out 200K plus for a player that was supposed to be uncapped and 4.5*, well, he wasn't uncapped, let's just leave it at that. Unfortunately, it's buyer beware.
