Very interesting 1st round!

Group A

Switzerland and UK were defeated due to bot formations. The swiss NT lost a first team WR and their strong running offense was "botted" away. The british suffered with a bot defense and even scoring 69 amazing points they were defeated by Mexico and their german manager. I hope both teams can set formations for the 2nd round.

Group B

I am sorry if I have called Argentina a weak team. After beating France in the first round with some ease, the south american team is clearly in the battle for a spot to the next phase. While this, Denmark and US played one of the best games in this 1st round in a well-timed-last-second win by the danish team.

Group C

Russia and Germany showed their world class level in a high score game finished with 2 TDs in the last 2 plays. Better luck to Russia that starts with a win by a short margin of 3 points. In the other match, the brazilian team was able to defeat the irish team even without playing a great running game. The 10 point margin - 2 yards away of a 17 points margin - do not show clearly how clutched was that game. But a win is a win in WC.

Group D

Spain and Finland finished with another high score: 59-49. A battle between an all-pass and an all-run team. Better luck for the spanish speedsters! While that, Italy played a lazy game against the swedish bot. So easy that I will not write any comments on it.

I've seriously had it with this game, yes this is going to be a major rant.

I don't check in for a few days, I come back and I have a national game on a F****** Wednesday with no warning at all?

I checked in the other day, no games in my schedule, now I come back to a loss after all my hard work, because you idiots who run this game can't be bothered to have a clear schedule?

If I had known I would have set a reminder to come back on here, after I haven't had a national game in month?

You don't bother investing anything in this game after people spend their money on it and then even when someone has a shot at actually doing anything, you screw them over by penalising them for not logging in for a few days.

After this World Cup I'm done with this game.

The pre-season schedule, including for the World Cup, was posted on the 22nd, so yes, there was fair warning actually.

You think that when I have a friendly game on a Monday and they post the schedule then, when I know I don't have a league game this week, one day is fair notice? Because let's face it, really you should set it by Tuesday. I don't normally log in on Mondays or Tuesdays because there's nothing going on. To come in on a Wednesday and then find I've missed the game's a joke.

They should be giving at least a week of notice if I haven't even had a game for a month.

This is probably the first time we have NT WC games in the week after the last league game of the season...

Thanks for the confidence boost, but with USA, Argentina and France, I see any of the four teams having a decent chance of getting into the finals.

Yes, good luck to your squad on Thursday and Friday

Yup... no need for luck to beat USA.

Do we play each other?

Yes... Now, go back to sleep...

Thanks! My team did not played a good match but the 4th quarter was almost perfect. Your running game was quite impressive. I hope you have a better luck on the games ahead!
