This is my first draft, keeping more or less the same formation as the last WC.
Please note that no scientific formula was used in the picking of these players.

QB - McMahon
FB - Gumbleton
TE - Clarke Johnston
WR - Barry Moss
OT - Swan Mundy
OG - Cotchin Pears
OC - Petterd
---------------------------
DE - Swan Bode
DT - Simpson Wilmot
OLB - McGlynn O'Shea
MLB - Greenwood
CB - Moss Black
FS - Morton Roughead
---------------------------
K - McCallum
P - Sellar
G - Black Roughead
KR - Barry Clarke
ST - Hahn Grose

I looked back over the last eight games and these players played the most in these positions (includes those no longer in the squad).

QB - McMahon
FB - Gumbleton
TE - Barnham Simpson
WR - Moss Barry
OT - Mundy Swan
OG - Petterd Rix
OC - Pears
------------------------------
DE - Swan Simpson
DT - Faulks Bode
OLB - Cahill O'Shea
MLB - Greenwood
CB - Moss Black
FS - Morton
SS - Hahn
-------------------------------
K - McCallum
P - Sellar
G - Black Roughead
KR - Clouston Merrett
ST - Hahn Grose

Nothing overly dramatic between them, I would say, apart probably at TE where I have two different players. As much as Simpson is beloved, his 13 Speed is too slow for me at TE. Happy for him to be a wall at DT though.

Anyway, we've still two weeks before our first game away to Spain so plenty of time to do some tweaking.

Make sure you have a plan for the aging linebackers. They wont be around forever.

One of them should be drawing his pension already. McGlynn, Alder and Riley look capable of stepping up and Alder's still developing. Hopefully they'll be more players coming through the ranks of the Australian clubs to take over in the near future.

It's not pretty but we needed the wins.

Today's was a fine one indeed, and one that we needed. Good work!

Today was (really) not pretty. But a win is a win, right?

Downright ugly...but also the most beautiful thing.

Definitely a bonus. Still have three tricky games to negotiate.

Top, for now, with two games to play. Spain and the CRep have one game left and we play the CRep next. Beat them and we qualify.
