Best part is, by rejecting a friendly and thereby missing out this week, I think they've lost about that amount.

Just report this guy. Admins have changed rules and banned players retroactively before.
Just because it's not in the rules doesn't mean it's fair.

This is a pretty obvious extortion.

It's only extortion if he is preventing you from having something that is already yours or going to be yours. His flag is not yours, so there really is no extortion. It's just a silly offer. If he scheduled a friendly with you and then said you must buy some of his players for a million virtual money or he would cancel the friendly or say mean things about you in the forums, that would be extortion of some sort. I've seen teams create teams in certain countries, then schedule a friendly to get the flag and then bot the team............to me, that's just as silly
