Welcome back...

Let's see if we can make it as close as last season and see if someone can knock the Vikings away from the top spot.

Welcome to Flanders, Raiders and Rams. Last edited on 2020-06-05 at 8:59

I hope it's as entertaining as last season. Good luck to everyone. But not too much luck

Most surreal ending to a game... Weasels should have gotten the win, but thank you (dumb and unknowing) GI "Football" Gods. A W is a W and no-one remembers the unfair ones.

So.

21 unanswered points surrendered in the 4th quarter.

Somehow I've managed to field a team with no field goal instructions again. Clearly my fault but I have no idea how or when i've changed them.

To top it off, I get home from a 12-hour work shift and find that Mrs Yoinks has eaten the sweet and sour chicken I bought for my tea. As in, there were two in the fridge when I left for work this morning but she's deliberately eaten them both just to &£%* with me.

There have been one or two results over the past few years that have made me think about quitting this game but this honestly might be the one that finishes me off.

Edit: I mean Gridiron, not the marriage.

Alas, we all make mistakes...
Field goal instructions, marriage, not hiding sweet and sour chicken well enough...
An unavoidable part of life, it seems

I have limited internet at the moment, so was unable to enjoy my team failing to win from a first and goal on the 4 yard line. The gap was about 100 points less than it might have been mind, as I didn't actually set orders, and would have botted if any of my players had retired or been injured.

A result like that would leave a sour taste in anyone's mouth. This is probably my favourite post here in quite a while though. Sweet & Sour-gate... ahahahaha!

Just the thought of the HC saying: "No... NO!!! No kicking team to tie the game. We will see what happens AFTER the judges make the final call and ends the game.... Hey!!! Roberto, you slimmy Italian Stallion! Get back on the bench!!! And that goes to all of you on the kicking team. Who ever you are??!?!"

The simple yet incisive delivery would be nothing without the impeccable timing. Not an easy task to pull off with such consistency in an online arena, year in, year out.

Never change
