Interesting bot on the defense side by Australia today, that will send USA packing. Pretty much the only way we were not going to advance was to see Australia bot the defensive side. Had they botted the offense, they would certainly have been stomped. Had they played straight up, it certainly would have been a closer outcome either way and we would have been in top 2 on points. It certainly is a funny game

Friday games are the worst. Our coach is from Argentina and that probably doesn't help with time zones and the training/injury update. Then again we can't complain, as this (coupled with Ireland's botting in the first round) has taken us further than we have been in many, many seasons.

That said, our next loss is a foregone conclusion, much like any match vs the UK. But as old disgruntled mate said a page earlier, it's just a crapshoot at this point: it's all luck and/or who has the most super-experienced bot players (because let's face it, experience surely doesn't stop at 5 stars, if some of these ancient bot teams are anything to go by) ... so you never know.

Interesting note: there is one team of each qualifying (first phase) group on the quarter finals.
