I've been intentionally relegating all season. However, I did play my most competitive lineup in Round 13 vs. Socten and Round 15 vs. 69ers. In order to be fair, I'm planning (barring injuries) on playing the same lineup in Round 18 vs. Warsaw.

However, to be perfectly honest until I saw this thread I had no idea there was even a competitive race this season. I haven't been here as long as Gatr or cflames or hoospack have but it has still been 6.5 years of real life time.

Yet I've been playing things here almost of autopilot for several seasons which culminated in botting my first ALFC game last season because I was so disengaged from the game that I didn't even notice it was on the schedule. Not ideal and fortunately it didn't negatively impact the AFLC race that season. Botting that game really hammered home to me that my interest in the game was dropping.

So, during the rollover before this season I sold off the last of the original set of trainees I gathered during my first seasons in this game back in 2014 and 2015. Aside from the fact that I was nearly broke from pushing for the Top Division and AFLC since Season 21, I was hoping that the idea of a rebuild would rekindle my interest in the game.

Sadly it hasn't. Oh, I'm in no danger of leaving anytime soon. It's just that I don't sit at the computer/phone every Thursday night waiting for the training update. I'm not trolling through the waiver wire or refreshing my game every minute on Saturdays. I'm not obsessively planning out every players training schedule.

I guess what I'm saying is that it is much easier than you may imagine to simply not be aware of details that a year or two ago would never have slipped past if your engagement in the game has dropped. Now is that an excuse? No, no it's not. But I understand how it happens and how much it stinks when it affects your team.

There would have been roughly a 50 point spread between myself the warpigs and the 69ers with two games remaining.[all at 13-3] I would have held a slight points advantage but i have the toughest remaining two games and an extremely tough away game next week. The warpigs would have still been in the mix although they would have been behind on points. The 69ers on paper have the two most favourable fixtures remaining and would have been in with a great chance of winning the TD. We where in for an exciting finish to the league but now you have allowed a 105 point swing in favour of the 69ers while myself and the warpigs where playing each other in a lose-lose situation Spare a thought for the warpigs who's only chance of making the aflc again next year was to win the TD [with myself and the 69ers in the final of the regional cup]. You have now taken that chance away from him. I also had a good chance of winning a 4th TD title in a row, that chance is almost certainly gone now. The 69ers will now win the division which in turn means i will qualify for the aflc even if i lose the cup final to the 69ers. What i am trying to get at here is that your actions [or lack of them] are relevant in the grand scheme of how this season has ended.The same cant be said about yourself as it seems you have not been relevant in the game for a long time. What a pathetic post, "you have the toughest remaining schedule"? You play goats of wrath and me, I'd say you have the easiest remaining schedule. I wouldn't have even known had the pms come to my account asking about the last game. I didn't realize my default orders were not working the last 2 weeks, big whoop. If you want to look back further, you will see 3 weeks ago I had a botted offense because I failed to replace a starter I had sold, nobody seemed to be bothered by that one or the next week when my default didn't work. Now I know, so I'll coast out the season in 7th, thanks mostly to a bot order by someone else in TD against me earlier in the season. I got an apology message from that game, which did me no good, that loss assured me of finishing no worse than 7th and staying in TD, which I really wasn't interested in. I didn't complain, that's just the way it goes sometimes. I will take your suggestion and pay attention to my line ups or would you rather me just bot out the season? What are your suggestions, oh great one? Don't bother replying, as I could care less what you think, that was complete and total sarcasm. I'm here to have fun and that is what I do. Fortunately, my life doesn't revolve around being relevant here or not, I just do it for fun.
