Hey, so I spent too much money to build out my stadium too quickly. Just got the bankruptcy warning. What can I do to get money besides Transfers and/or cutting players?

You have far too many players so cut the rubbish, anything below 3.5 talent can go. However if you want to struggle with the players you got you next game is at home, hope a big crowd turn up!!

I would say a stadium of 94k will be a problem for seasons to come. Even if you do everything else right, you would be handcuffed by it. I would suggest to completely rethink the whole operation. Tear down the whole roster, tear down the stadium, build a new one (13500, then 50k).

I agree with the above, however I wouldn't tear down you stadium down until after the game against Coeur d'Alene Vikings starts than at least you get some revenue from the stadium before starting again.

And depending on how quick the stadium takes to tear down (don't know the time it takes I've never done it) you might be able to built to 12500 (Just Exec and VIP seats) before the new season starts.

I agree with everything they said here. However, you have 2 League home games in a row coming up. I wouldn't do anything with your stadium until after those games.

You should know that you are most likely NOT going to promote this season, even if you beat Coeur d'Alene in your match next week. He has games against 2 bot teams and he has a 120 point lead in the points differential tie breaker. So, with that in mind... Here is what I would do: I would take steps 1 and 2 (listed below) before the next financial update. Then take step #3 (listed below) after your game against Coeur d'Alene.

1. Cut players over $20k in wages. In the lower divisions, balanced training is the key. There's no real reason to have expensive players in D.III unless you are REALLY pushing to promote and you already have a lot in savings. You can make a few exceptions for young or key players, but across the board your total salary should be MUCH lower than it currently is. You are better off having 3 players evenly trained at $10K than having 1 player of $30K.

2. Cut players under 3.5* talent, especially those with low intelligence and consistency. There is no reason to keep players who will not help your team when you promote to D.II.

3. Immediately after your game against Coeur D'Alene, sell your stadium and rebuild it using only VIP and executive seats. This will maximize your ticket revenues. You can add regular seats AFTER you have rebuilt with VIP/Executive. You shouldn't have a stadium as large as 94000 though. Take a look at the stadiums in the Top Division. The average is between 70-90k seats with 70k being optimal.

I think even 70k is too big for top division.

I agree. I am at 72k seats now and will not build anymore.

Great advice.

I once made a long post about selling the stadium and the financial benefits / issues sith doing so.

I do not recommend selling since the long term loss is dear, but if you need the money and can not sell any players for cash, yes, that is the way to go.

I hope that you have gotten some money in the bank and have cut your expenses.

And regarding stadium size, I am at 72.900 and har sold out twice and have had two other games +70.000. My average (excluding cup games) is 67k and I am in 7th place.
