At the top we have just 5 points seperating the Raiders and the Gnomes as they both push for there 1st TD title.

Great push and happy to see you again in TD! but any relegating team at this level deserves to be here.

As for the Championship final on Saturday, I see way to many 'if' for me to pull a Homer and succeed. Nightmare at home is no treat, but I still need to win at Flanders and still need some points lead to get ahead.

Congratulations to Sredna on the title.

Although to win it in the embarrasing circumstance where the team of his fellow countryman threw the game to enable to points difference to be overhauled, is not the ideal situation.

Looking at the game stats they set orders on the last match to run to the flanks while keeping the running backs in the centre. I mean there's nothing in the rules against this in theory, so I'm not making an accusation of cheating, but there it is... Flanders League Murderers?

I may have had my differences with Steve in the past, but my heart goes out to him here, because he ought to have the league trophy in his cabinet, and it has been robbed in plain daylight.

Not knowing his motivation, I am also left with the feeling that this championship should have been decided fair and square. I do believe that in a straight match, the score would have been very close indeed. And a 50/50 for both teams. I would give the trophy to Stevie for winning by someone not setting a proper offensive tactic is for me humiliating.

If the admins could give Stevie the trophy, I would gladly give it up.

Congrats SrednaD. I'm sure it's not the way you would have liked to have won it but I don't think there's anything that can be done about it now.
For me it was my last game in the TD for a while. It's time to go away and restructure the team and hopefully I'll be back soon.

no matter how it happened, maybe you just outcoached him like you always seem to do to me, or maybe he gambled on the defensive settings, maybe he just forgot to adjust the players positions to a new gameplan, you never know... hey there are owners here who even forget repeatedly setting a gameplan

just enjoy the trophy!

Sorry - I'm certainly not casting any aspersions on Sredna. I know how honest and straightforward he is, and how it must hurt him too, that the title came about this way. The Gnomes are a great side, and fully deserve a TD title.

Now I understand why he was defending the greek cheater. They were planning to do the same shit, ahahahahaha haha. At least they tried to make it seem less obvious, let's give them credit for that.

Congrats to Sredna on winning the title and serious commiserations to Stevie!

Not the best way for it to finish, but over the course of the season both teams were the class of the Division, so it could have gone either way i guess.
