Cardsharks and 69ers prevail which sets up a massive game next week that could be the "game of the season"....#1 Cardsharks versus #2 69ers.

Folks, I apologize, but I am going to be going bot from here out. I waited until the midway point, so that every team in TD will get one bot game against me.

I'm going to put my useful players on sale this weekend.

Good luck to all!

Sorry to hear that Duckman.
Appreciate you waiting until halfway point to pull the plug.

Best of luck to you!

Lots of important games in store for this weekend, including what may be termed the "game of the season" as the #1 Cardsharks travel to face defending Champs, the #2 69ers.

This past week saw several important results:
- Cardsharks completed the sweep of the Socten Lakers putting a 4 game cushion between 1st and 3rd place.
- The 69ers kept pace with the Cardsharks by holding off a late charge from the Warpigs and also putting the Warpigs 4 games back of 1st.
- Gators won an important game against Herringtown to keep ahold of the important 7th place spot.
- Pottsville continued their mid-season surge up the standings by capturing their 5th win in a row against Kitchener.
- Hurricanes shut out the struggling Goats to importantly keep pace with the Gators in the race for the 7th spot.

This week we have some vital matches that will play an important role in how the final half of the season may play out:
- The struggling Goats face off against the Gators. The Goats are losers of 5 in a row and a loss here would potentially put them in danger of relegation, after starting the season 4-0. Conversely, a win by the Gators would strengthen their case for 7th.
- Hurricanes play against the Kitchener Knights in what could be "do or die" for the Knights. A loss by Kitchener would put their hopes to avoid relegation as slim. A win by the Hurricanes would see them keeping pace with the Gators and could create a massive 4-team log jam for that 7th spot.
- Warsaw faces Herringtown in a game that Warsaw cannot afford a letdown if they want to have any chance of making a late season title push. Herringtown hopes to play spoiler, but a win here could change the trajectory of their season.
- Socten faces a resurgent and dangerous Pottsville team that appears to be clicking on all cylinders. If Pottsville loses this game and the Gators and Hurricanes win theirs, then there will be a 4-way tie for 7th.

Game of the Week:
- Cardsharks vs 69ers: In a game that many will be keeping an eye on, the Cardsharks travel to face the 69ers in what could be the "game of the season". A win by the 69ers will trim the Cardsharks lead to just 1 game with 6 weeks left in the season, plus a slight edge in points differential. However, a win by the Cardsharks will give them a 3 game lead with 6 to play. The trajectory of the race for the Championship hinges wildly on the outcome of this match!

Sorry to hear about the Goats, they will be missed. Good luck in the quest for undefeatedness, but in the interest of excitement, we will have to pull for the loss

Yea if I'm being honest, I feel like this is the one I might lose. Our first match was a home game for me and I had to win in OT. The 69ers hasn't lost since I beat him in week 3, that includes winning all his AFLC matches too.

Looks like you got your wish Gator.

The final 6 weeks are going to be interesting! Both for the race for the Championship and the race for 7th spot.
