Week One.

A weird set of results - four away wins, with three home sides botting their first week's lineups, and one other playing without a recognised QB.

Uhtred's Wolfpack topped off their weekend by selling 27 players.

I agree, really weird season opener. I hope none of the experienced owners is running into bancruptcy problems. Not having any bot in your own division is usually brutal. Season 34 will be interesting as I do see several competing teams for the top slot, but Terrassa and East Enders already lost a step on Tikkurila, Ottershaw and Inverglen. Uhtred's currently only has 11 experienced players on the team, will be interesting to see how they are doing.

I assumed Uhtreds Wolfpack must have money trouble, but they sold a further seven players (at giveaway prices) so now I wonder if they're planning to leave?

Gilets Minets still lack a QB.

Eastenders - I expected them to be pushing for promotion but after Weird Week One and facing Northampton's strong running game they're occupying a relegation spot. Early days of course but I can't remember seeing a 0-2 team go on to win their division.

Tough loss for Gobabeb. Inverglen look to be solid competitors. As do Red Sharks, who beat Moorhuhn in a game where neither side's passing game clicked.

I still feel that I'm waiting for things to settle down in this division.

Uhtreds have just sold a further nine players, reducing their roster to just 18 players.

In other transfer news Moorhuhn have paid1.5million for a 16 year old prospect. Terrassa have bid on a couple of 5 BPOS veterans, though no signings have been confirmed.

Week 3.

Tikkurila Stones thrashed Uhtreds to take over at the top of the league. Uhtreds' last login was 6 days ago.

Despite outgaining Ottershaw by nine yards, and winning the turnover count, Gobabeb slipped to defeat at Ottershaw.

Eastenders chalked up their first win of the season, nullifying Inverglen's offense in a 38-24 win.

Neither Terrassa or Northampton had much success running the ball. Despite similar passing completion percentages Terrassa won the game thanks to throwing more times.

Game of the week was in France where Gentils Minet led Moorhuhn going into the last three minutes of the game. A 45 yard TD run from Moorhuhn' RB Farago took the match into overtime, with a 23 yard FG giving Moorhuhn the win on their second possession.

Week Four saw top host second as Tikkurila ended Ottershaw's unbeaten run 38-28.

Eastenders visited Gobabeb and came away with the win, leapfrogging them in the table to move out of the relegation spots.

Northampton had a comfortable win v Gentils Minets, who are still to address their issues at QB.

Moorhuhn trounced Uhtreds (who have at least logged in).

Inverglen Knights and Terrassa had a shootout, with over 1000 passing yards. The Knights came out on top to keep pace with the leaders.

Passing percentage completion:

70 - Inverglen
61 - Eastenders
60 - Northampton
43 - Tikkurila
40 - Terrassa
35 - Moorhuhn
35 - Gentils
30 - Gobabeb
27 - Ottershaw
N/A - Uhtreds.

Given that Gentils played a TE at QB, both Gobabeb and Ottershaw may need to ask themselves some tough questions.

Week 5, and this division's quarterback shenanigans continue as Eastenders sell their starter just prior to the game, leading to a botted offense versus Terrassa Red Sharks, who took full advantage to move to 3&2. Eastenders have botted twice in the first five weeks.

Game of the day took place at Tikkurila where the leaders must have fancied their chances versus lowly Gobabeb. After a free-scoring first half that saw the visitors lead by four, the second half turned into a dour defensive battle. Despite territorial domination Tikkurila only managed one score to lose 31-42. They stay in first place on points difference.

Northampton emerged comfortable victors v Uhtreds to go 3&2.

A dour battle between running backs took place when Ottershaw entertained Moorhuhn. Both sides laboured for 198 rushing yards. The difference finally came down to the home side's four pass completions as they won by just 21-7.

Inverglen Knights continue doing just enough to win games. This week they travelled to Gilets Minets, holding the home side to just 287 total yards in a 28-14 win that sees them move joint top of the league.

Next week Inverglen have a great chance to go top when they host bottom side Uhtreds, while both their rivals face tricky away games.

Amidst the carnage of week six, where three matches were decided by a single score, Inverglen Knights emerged on top following their hammering of Uhtred's Wolfpack, who are likely to have botted by the time week seven comes around.

Behind the Knights, five teams are bunched on 4&2. Still in second spot despite a two game losing streak are Tikkurila Stones who in the battle of the miserly defences were finally beaten in overtime by Moorhuhn Hunters.

A fourth quarter field goal proved the difference as Northampton Roundheads and their potent running game saw off the Ottershaw Shankers 38-35. Both sides are now at 4&2.

Gentils Minets took their quarterback woes to Eastenders who, in an act of empathy, had a 21 year old gunner taking the snaps. However he successfully completed 12 of 29 to lead Eastenders to a comfortable victory that moves them out of the relegation places.

Terrassa Red Sharks went into the fourth quarter at Gobabeb holding a 21-14 lead, whereupon seemingly the defences took the rest of he match off. Six scores were shared as Terrassa joined half of the division on 4&2.

Week seven, and still you could cover the top seven sides with a bath sheet.

Inverglen Knights stay a game clear of the chasing pack thanks to come-from-behind win at Ottershaw, finally settled in overtime.

Tikkurila and Northampton clashed on the back of contrasting fortunes. The Stones ended their 2 game losing streak and Northampton's three game winning streak with an emphatic 42-17 victory.

There was a surprise at La Panier where winless Gentils Minets hosted Terrassa Red Sharks. Despite their QB having BPOS of only 1.5 he completed 50% of his passes to set up Gentils Minets' first win of the campaign.

Uhtreds Wolfpack have finally entered botdom. They take with them two NT players - a French LB and a Canadian safety.

Eastenders enjoyed some target practice v Uhtreds, averaging 33 yards per carry. Meanwhile a strong second half performance saw Moorhuhn pull clear of Gobabeb 52-28. Gobabeb remain in 8th position, though now 2 games shy of Eastenders in 7th.

This week's total yardages:

Inverglen 541 beat Ottershaw 402
Tikkurila 483 beat Northampton 391
Eastenders 744 beat Uhtreds 31
Gentils Milets 505 beat Terrassa 393
Moorhuhn 641 beat Gobabeb 434

week eight's fixtures sent the top 6 teams switching places like they were at a ceilidh.

In the battle for top spot Inverglen's rushing game went up against Tikkurila's passing game, with Tikkurila emerging victorious though
the 28 point margin of victory was somewhat flattering.

Eastenders and Ottershaw attempted to out-bore each other in a battle between two misfiring offenses. It was left to Ottershaw's kicker to score the decisive points in the third quarter.

Terrassa's slambot win took them above Northampton who held onto their 100% home record with a good win v Moorhuhn who drop to 4th.

At the bottom a late charge from Gentils Minets was not enough to stop Gobabeb from winning their tie 28-21. Gentils will feel gutted as they outgained the Hyenas by over 70 yards.

Week 8 Average Yards Per Rush:
Terrassa 29.2 (versus bot)
Tikkurila 10.1
Northampton 10.1
Gentils Minets 7.2
Moorhuhn 4.9
Eastenders 4.1
Ottershaw 2.8
Uhtreds (bot) 0.6
Inverglen -1.3
Gobabeb -1.5
