I hope it is not a sign of desperation from Melderon.

I would hate to see them pulling the plug on this game due to
1) them losing money on this game and/or
2) a negative atmosphere created by their customers (that's us) in the forums

That's why:
1) I have a supporter account. I can easily afford it, so I want to compensate Melderon for the entertainment they provide me
2) I generally refrain from negativity about the game on the forums. I love this game

I don't think for one moment it is the legend that was Rocky Solo, given the new cups posts are not using 200 emojis and talking about his own team/league to death. Sorry Rocky if you're watching, but yeah, his style was... distinct, for sure.

While we're here I bear no ill-will towards the admins, whoever they might be. Just seems a very odd thing to do, stealthing 16 teams into the Central European league for the purposes of promoting Ultimate Supporter.

He'd also have 100 teams recruited and 7-8 divisions all ready to go.

Only my opinion .... but all signs point to this being an attempt at a 'cash grab' before bailing on the game. Everything they are doing is Ultimate Supporter related.

Regards myself .... having been in the game for 5 years .... paying 6.99 euros every 3 months without fail .... why attempt to 'recruit' me onto an ultimate supporter account which brings a 1 off payment rather than have a steady flow of income ? That makes no sense as they have already received much more than the cost of the ultimate supporter account and would continue to do so for as long as I remain in the game.

Add to that their attempts to put a band aid on an open wound by spending time working on uniforms ( completely unnecessary to the game and game play) whilst clearly refusing to attempt to modify the game for the better .... like having tie breakers decided by 1. Head to head wins then 2. Head to head points diff then 3. Head to head points scored ( eliminating any and all attempts to manipulate outcomes by 3rd parties and also eliminate the problems of teams going bot mid season ) ..... but No .... lets muck about with uniforms and do NOTHING ELSE !!
