I'm sure most people will anyway given the experience differential, but I'm happy to suggest you vote for Tom as NT manager. I only really applied in case no one else came forward, and ideally I'd prefer to take on a lesser nation for my first stab at international management when the remaining teams become up for grabs. The responsibility of taking on the current (double) World Champions is more than I think I'm ready for!

Congratulations, I had actually forgotten that I had applied, let alone voted...

Good luck with the season

Crikey, talk about in at the deep end! Didn't really expect to get the nod against a more experienced opponent, but now that I'm here I'll certainly give it my best shot and see if the UK can make it three in a row.

As a fairly new manager my financial resources are pretty limited, so I don't plan on being able to request tons of scout reports, thus will likely be contacting managers directly in due course to enquire about:

1. Positional ratings of dual/multi-position players
2. Any UK players you may have who you think should be considered for the national team
3. Any other info about your players you feel may help (eg. where they play best in your experience)

In the meantime feel free to come forward with any of the above if you wish, will be much appreciated.

Thanks for your support and I hope I can do the job justice.....

Cheers,
Will

Not sure if anyone else remembers, but the first ever UK world cup win was with a division IV manager called Monkey.

I have multiple UK players that are worthy of possible NT.

I will message you.

Tough quali group with last season's WC Final opponents France as well as past-winners Hungary to get past.
Looking forward to getting started against Mexico on Friday

A bit nervy at times, but we just made it through qualifying in a topsy-turvy campaign that saw us record a win and a loss apiece against both France and Hungary. Took a bit of time to settle on personnel and tactics, but hopefully we're now ready to go for it in the WC proper and try to defend the UK crown.
Thanks to all the managers who have helped out with info and advice
