Nope. No clue what bigbudsmoker s referring to. At least give us a team name so we can make moral judgements. A single line post: something like "Newport Numpties" is all I need

It was in reference to teams in lower positions who with 4 or 5 games left in the season decide to start botting there offense or defense orders.

It effects the teams trying to win the league and also the teams trying to avoid the drop.

It happens alot at this time of the season and not just in our region, it's shit!

Deliberately botting is different, but for me it is the manager's prerogative to develop his own players, and if sitting midtable and no threat of relegation then that's their call.

..... not sure that a 31 yr old safety playing at Centre falls into this line of thinking though shmert .... and that's just the very first player to check in the game that bigbuds is referring to.

So .... nah buds ... don't apologise to anyone for calling a spade a spade.

Well that is a different scenario from what I am talking about.

That sounds like someone has botted (deliberate or otherwise)... or has played a duff team in order to lose. 2/3 of those options are bad; don't think anyone would disagree on that.

You did see, the 'spade' also botted a cupmatch, didn't you.

So maybe instead of blaming him, you should just thank him for not showing up in the final - again

Hahaha You are absolutely tripping if you think that he would have beaten the UL Vikings in the final !!
