Ah yes, but it took me 10 seconds to click on this message board and read your message, thus negating what would have been an amazing timesaver in one fell swoop.

, even if I only understand half of your post due the slang.

PS: OK, this is no slang, got some help from a friend for this. Sorry!Last edited on 2009-07-31 at 20:54

I think any update which progresses the game is good. Notice I didn't say great updates or amazing updates, but these are good.

Being able to see your position stars for your players is a fantastic addition, and if they hadn't put it on the front page, I wouldn't have known until next week's training when I go back through my players, so to me I'm glad they did this.

Now if only they could fix the weather...

Being able to fire your players who are going to retire is great. Same with being able to see your player's secondary position ratings.

Call me a killjoy, but I really couldn't care less about these updates (actually, I cared less about the sacks counting as tackles change, my mistake). Is this game actually going to move forward or are we just going to be fed yet more minor updates (things that in other games would go on behind the scenes without the need to triumphantly announce them on the news page)?

Edit: I've just realised how truly pointless the Orders for Next Match button is! Brilliant. If your mouse pointer happens to be inhabiting the bottom-centre of the screen, why bother migrating all the way over to the centre-right when you can easily press "Orders for Next Match"? A real 0.25 second timesaver. Thanks Grid-iron!

What the killjoys all have to realise is this is the middle of the season, major ground breaking updates can not be implemented as they could distort everything

Wait for the off season and hope to god the match engine has some big improvements

All improvements that add to the game. Good work and looking forward to the next additions

1 thing...Surely the "Orders for next match" is on the same page as the tactics button we'd always use though. If it was on the main team page maybe that'd be a little better?Last edited on 2009-08-01 at 0:54

Great improvements for the middle of the season. I especially like the secondary position ratings. Should help everyone as they try to figure out who should play where on their team.

Here's hoping for even more this offseason, especially when it comes to the game engine and stats!

yeah. the upgrades are great. especially the ratings, and firing players that plan to retire soon are a great addition to the game.
