I have been fined twice now in the last week and I won't discuss the amounts or anything like that. I'm not bringing this up to complain either, the admins do not give you any opportunity to present your side. I will only bring up that it involves another team that has bought quite a few of my players, maybe 7-8. I don't know as my sales list is quite long and I can't see all the transfers back to october. For the record, I have no idea who this team is and have bought none of their players that I am aware of.

With that said, how is one team held responsible for another team that buys too many of their players? Also in a free market, how much is too much to ask for a player? I know I'm still new and I have learned a lot in a short time. I must say the transfer market is one of the most exciting features of the game. Anyone that has seen me or look at my transfers will see I am very active on there. I list one player at 5K and he sells for 660K, is that my fault? Me and my friends watched it run up and couldn't believe it, but that is the way the market can be.

Should the seller be held responsible for a buyer who does not scout or ask about a player? I am happy to share talent of any of my players selling, anybody will tell you this.

I can contest that Gatr22 is an honest seller, he will tell you talent if you message him. I've bought players from him with no complaints.

Admin has said they fine users if they find suspicious activity. I believe the amounts are $500k and $1Mil.

Amounts are different from fine to fine, depending on the rule break

That's really unfortunate, and I don't agree with the admins on this one.

Ok then. I remember hearing those numbers specifically somewhere, perhaps from Karma.

Edit: and I think Ro said something about being fined $1,000,000 too.Last edited on 2010-01-12 at 22:16

I am sad to hear about this also. We really do need some kind of panel that determines who is cheating and who is playing the game. I am sorry to hear you were fined. I hope a solution will come because you came forward to help make us aware of the problem. I never knew fines existed.

Thank you for the kinds words. I still feel very unsure moving forward about selling players in the future. To get back to my questions. Should there be a max listing price for players based on talent? This might make it better for new players especially, in knowing what to list their players at. Should there be a min listing price as well?

Personally I think this would all be bad, as the free market is now gone. Please, some more thoughts on how a seller can be held responsible for either agreed upon pricing or final price from a bid war?
