where to start training?
fitness?

I always start training at fitness for all my players. Once I find the caps for speed and strength, I then determine what position I will use them at based off these skills, then train their other skills according to their position.

do he needs stregth and speed for qb?

No, you don't need speed or strength for QB.

The devs at one point intended for high strength to actually hurt QB's, but I don't know if this was implemented in the upgrade. I don't think so, but if it was, it doesn't seem to be too harsh. Speed could help a QB on running plays, but those are hit and miss as well.

I have found a player on the current transport market with Talent=4.5, and skill=20. How is that possible? It goes against the tips section, help section, and all advice i have got so far.

I have also scouted the player to make sure. (That type of info is worth 3500.)

Is it possible for a player to go above his maximum?

It is possible, it's just that much harder for the player to achieve that.

If a player is at his maximum then he has 1 in 3 chance to gain a point/level.
If a player is at his maximum + 1 then he has 1 in 5 chance to gain a point/level.
If a player is at his maximum + 2 then he has 1 in 10 chance to gain a point/level.
If a player is at his maximum + 3 then he has 1 in 20 chance to gain a point/level.
It is impossible for a player to go more than 4 above his maximum.

You can reach skill=20 (on paper) with 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5 talent players.

how hard is it?

how do grid calculate? do he do it to every training point or does he do it in general and you get all of training points or noone?

is it worth at all to train over limits players those 3.5 or 4 talents?

The first increase isn't too difficult. The second may take a bit, and the third is pretty difficult but not impossible.

It's all or nothing on the increase. Skill points increase as normal and when the time comes for the skill to increase, it is based on the chances above and either increases or doesn't.

And yes, it is worth it to increase 3.5* & 4* talents if you can.

My opinion anyway.

I think this is some of the best advice a veteran can give to a newbie. Training all fitness first can help you figure out where to assign players after they cap their fitness skills. For example, if you start training a young player as a WR but he caps at 14 speed, then you've just wasted time training him as a WR. So fitness 1st always!

The only players I begin training BPOS on before they cap their physicals are players with high INT or CON. Those I train for a need such as LB, SF, DL/OL. I might loose some weeks of BPOS training if I guess wrongly and the player caps strength at 11 and I was training him for DL, but in reality, I loose nothing as I can just move the training to a speed position.

Under any circumstances, I never let any of my players not play on the first team or at least on the friendly team. There's always 2 or 3 positions on the first team that can be used for training prospects (WR/TE/QB/OT in run-heavy formations and HB/OG in pass heavy formations). On defence, it's harder, but there are some positions that only have assignments on specific defensive plays. ST players are bonkers anyway, so they can be used too. All to get the TC and experience up.

It's the second button from the left, below the row buttons that says "Home", "Club", "Massages" ( couldn't help myself)
If you have an adblocker active these buttons can become invisible.

You can PM me any questions, but read some parts of the 'Spilling the Beans' @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JOadOv6tXJr9PAyaKyGGBve64Peq5_nA/view?usp=sharing

Should cover your first couple of seasons. Just ignore the part about the passing game. Just run the pigskin up the middle with a FB(c) and a HB(c).

I'm confused about how challenges work. I have a message on my home page that I've been challenged by someone to a friendly, but when I click on Club > Challenges, it says 0/20 so how can I accept/decline that challenge and where does it show up in terms of playing that friendly?
