I'm confused about how challenges work. I have a message on my home page that I've been challenged by someone to a friendly, but when I click on Club > Challenges, it says 0/20 so how can I accept/decline that challenge and where does it show up in terms of playing that friendly?

That means the person who challenged you has already arranged another friendly match with another team. If it was still an active challenge, it would have remained in your list for you to accept or decline.

Was the game engine reverted back to a pass-favored style? Running seems to do nothing these days.... again?

Lost any tactical advantage I had by doing pre-game scouting. Everything is back at the stage where "who has the better QB wins the game"

Not really, I think now it is quite balanced and it is more of a coin flip now. If you are defending the run and your opponent is passing, or viceversa, you are probably losing even if you have the better team.

Rushing is still effective: last week in this match my opponent got 654 yards in 60 attempts, and I was defending the run. Maybe it was because my MLB in that game has not enough strenght (15) but he is skilled @19 with 18 INT and 17 CONS.

Hello,

I don't know if it is the right place to post this question but I haven't found any so...
I was wondering how the "coach" thing wa working. If your coach is 10 in a set of skills does that mean that is only giving a bonus to the player who are under ten?
When do you think a team should hire a coach? After or before having build a training center?

Thnaks in advance for your replies

Hi, in the FAQ it says
FAQ wrote:

How does the training work?
A player needs to reach 100 points in a particular skill to gain a level/point in that skill. Once he gains a level he again starts from 0 plus training points over the 100 from the last level gain.
Each training cycle (once per week) a player gets 10 +- 2 training points automatically, he also gets points from teamwork (teamwork divided by 2), each player also gets gets training points from the coaches skill (For Example: player is training kicking, the coaches skill in kicking is 17 so the player gets additional 17 training points) and lastly he gets 4 additional points for the training hall and 4 for each consecutive training hall upgrade. He also gains/loses points depending on training intensity and players age. And that's the secret of training in Grid-Iron world.

No, it will give a bonus to all players that are training that set of skills, no matter how high the skill is.

Personally, I hired a lvl 20 fitness coach first, when I had around 10k seats. Then built a fitness center and then a training hall at 13.5k seats. And now I want to build my seats to max capacity for my division, 40k-50k, before I get the other coaches at lvl 20. I train fitness on 90% of my players.

This is a common order, I suppose. But you can choose your own path As long as your stadium makes a stable income, you can choose yourself.

The general advise against bot teams is to run 100%. Even starting teams can win reliably against bot teams this way, as long as they put players on positions where they have a decent position rating.

Welcome to grid-iron!

I have more questions
Is anywhere explained how weight and height affect each player's position, BMI as well.
For example what is "ideal" height weight and BMI for each position
