Had a quick run through the divisions and there are 11 Irish teams whose managers have been active in the last couple of days. A few of these teams are new too. Anyway, the list is:

II.1 Steel Hawks
IV.19 Gang Green
V.1 Disposable Heroes
V.7 The Third and Longs
V.21 Suicide Squad, Attack!
V.35 Ballybar Bruisers
V.41 Indianapolis Colts
V.44 Dirreenaling Bears
V.56 Celbridge Celtics
V.66 3rd Class Bears
V.70 Kilkenny Cats

Not TOO far from a National Team. Maybe we could organise an All-Ireland Friendly Cup???

Good work there dude.

A friendly cup would actually sound good.

I've just signed up to a friendly cup that starts this week but should be finished in five or so weeks.

I'll recheck the active managers then and PM around to see if there is any interest. Still a bit gutted about today - being a Kildareman!

At least you guys went down swinging. Nearly snatched it at the end and a couple of key decisions went against you. After the beating Louth put on you months ago I never thought you would get that far. The team deserves alot of credit for the way they regrouped.

I know it sucks to come so close, but look at it this way, at least your not from Carlow

True - the term "Long-suffering" could have been invented for the Carlow GAA fan - particularly with your neighbours being so dominant with the small ball and the stick! Still - you do have the most colourful inter-county jersey ever seen!

It seems there is now a national team for Ireland. I applied to be coach. Anyone else who wants is free to do so through the national teams bar
