I'm new into the game and into the sport. I saw somewhere else here this 'basic' 'good' lineup.

WR ... LT LG C RG RT TE ... WR
.................. QB
............... HB .. FB


I see however now guards or tackles in my team, not even as seconth or tirth best place to play. Also I don't have fullbacks or halfbacks... Evenmore: I can't see how to hire them or something.
In my team on the other hand I have lots of cornerbacks, kickers, safeties, linebacks, linebackers, running backs...
Are some of these perhaps 'guards' (etc) just with other names or something?

And what is important on wich position: vision, speed,...?
