hmm, I didn't even realize Franklin was merc's #3 ranked team until I read this. I would tend to agree with your assessment though, Oakland's running game is going to be almost impossible to slow down and their defense doesn't allow much on the ground.

Evil 4 LB offense destroying my RB! Though, my RB's aren't Oakland's twins of running terror. I just think Oakland's got this cup...

I think that if anyone who plays oakland runs a 5-4, they should be okay, especially if the DBs are both strong safeties

Here are my cup round 6 projections:

Reservoir Docs Vs. Boise State Broncos
27-14 Reservoir. Boise knocked out Merc's pick for the cup winner with 0-8 passing, and minus a 75 yard run, Boise's leading rusher had 10 rushes for 38 yards. Meanwhile, Reservoir's passer went 10-29 for 278 yards and for rushing there RB had 18 carries for 75 yards. Note: Reservoir just knocked out Brute, who has an upcoming league match Vs. Boise!

i can deal with only being projected 14 points and losing, but 27 POINTS ALLOWED? i've never allowed that many points, ever.

Go Poo Choo, but I think my game will be like a repeat of last round. 17-14.

Exactly.

Oakland is too one-dimensional.

Guru.

I'm sure someone has tried to beat Oakland using a 5-4 before ...

Look, 0-8 passing and one big run... I just don't like it for you...

To be fair, he didn't say anything about his offense only being projected to score 14, it was that you had his defense allowing 27.
