why would we be the ones screaming?

surprisingly a pretty clear result. expected the game to be way closer. but Dave's ladies will get a chance for payback next week

Not sure either losing team will be able to make up the point diff, but they'll get a chance next week. Good luck, all!

in my so very humble opinion, these results clearly show that the "home" advantage still doesn't work at all. the road team still has an advantage. can't really proofe it, but i thought today's matchups were pretty even. the fact that both home teams suffered blowout losses makes me doubt the admin's statement that the "home field" advantage has been fixed.
also, in my league i'm 4-0 on the road, but only 2-2 at home

Puuuh my team completely missed the first quarter. Either that or your team didn't need to play afterwards with that lead. So congrats on your win!

But there is still a small chance left, maybe if my QB could finally start completing more than every third pass against good opponents...

Yeah, I expect Game 2 to be more like the last 3 quarters of Game 1. I missed seeing the 1st quarter and was surprised to see the score when I logged on with my Pop Tarts. From then on, the game seemed evenly matched until the end. We'll be able to check the Home Field disadvantage theory here too. Geez, I hope we don't take off the 1st quarter next game!
